Space is limited in our inaugural trip to keep the group small and hands on...so don't put it off! Price increases July 15.
The pricing you see is per person, but we encourage you to come in a small group of friends (up to 4 people in a cabin). Simply each purchase your individual trip and select the appropriate group size and we will reach out to collect all the names of your crew to ensure you are in the same cabin.
Solo pricing is for a single person in their own private cabin. Savage!
Join us for four perfectly orchestrated days in the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains balancing sweating and relaxing while spending time in the outdoors hiking, riding bikes, running and swimming; eating thoughtful, farm to table, chef prepared meals paired with California beer and wine; relaxing and rejuvenating your body and mind; and getting to know a few folks with shared interests and passions.
Lodging: We will be staying at the Convict Lake Resort, just outside the town of Mammoth Lakes in the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains. Each party will get its own private cabin (groups of 1 up to 4 people). Meals, drinks, and get-togethers will be held in our group lodge (large enough to accommodate social distancing measures as necessary). Convict lake is the premier resort in the Eastern Sierra Nevadas, with modern, clean, and cozy cabins scattered through the grounds around the crystal clear alpine lake (google it!).
Meals: Most meals will be prepared by our chef with produce sourced from a friend's farm in Mendocino, CA (likely some eggs and other goodies from the farm, too!). We will have one meal "out" at Mammoth Brewing (not included in the trip price). Weather permitting, expect al fresco dining most evenings, complete with signature cocktails, beer and wine pairings.
Activities: Most days will start with an optional sunrise yoga and stretching session, and each day will be anchored by a hike (home made snacks and meals provided) mountain bike ride, trail run or open water swim, and for those who stick around, an optional fly fishing expedition on Sunday morning. Activities will be modified to personal abilities, breaking into groups based on experience as necessary. Bringing your own equipment is encouraged, but not necessary.
Who is this trip for and what to expect? We will cater to a wide range of ability levels, so if you have a basic level of fitness you will do great and enjoy this trip. We are experienced in working with all ability levels in all planned activities, and will make you feel comfortable and help to raise your competence. If you are a bit more advanced or really looking to push yourself, we will be right there with you, too. Expect most activities to break into 2 or more groups based on fitness and experience level.
Generally you can expect a good balance of pushing in the outdoors, relaxation and restoration, and good old fashioned fun. Expect the food to be superb and the experience to be thoughtful and thought through, down to the details.

**Logistics and Fine Print**
You are responsible for getting yourself to and from Mammoth / Convict Lake Resort. For those flying in to Mammoth airport, we are happy to provide airport pick-ups and drop offs. Getting to the Mammoth area is very easy, dead straight highways and no mountain driving. It is a few hundred miles from LA and SF....which is what keeps it so pristine.
We encourage you to bring your own mountain bike gear and / or fly fishing gear if you have it and plan to participate in either activity, but can provide both at no extra charge.
This 50% deposit is required to reserve your spot. Full payment is due 60 days before the trip begins. Cancellation within 15 days of the trip start date will be charged 25% of the total trip fee. Of course, we will do our best to work with everyone in the event of extreme circumstances that limit or prohibit travel.
After paying your deposit and securing your spot, about 75 days out we will send a link for payment in full and additional trip details.
Conceptually, this has been in the works for some time, so expect an unforgettable experience. We hope to see you out there...with us!
